I live in Jupiter and frequent Coral Cove Park as a snorkeler and amateur underwater videographer. Over the past two years I have collected hours of hi-def underwater video of the Coral Cove reef and its inhabitants.
Some of my videos are posted on YouTube at: http://www.youtube.com/axelray. These videos feature:
Green Sea Turtles: adult and adolescents, feeding
Giant Manta Ray: putative third species identified by Dr. Andrea Marshall
Spotted Eagle Ray: feeding on the reef
Sharptail Eel: moving about, feeding
Moray Eels: various species (including two different species in one hole, cheek-to-cheek)
Tarpon
Lobster
Mullet
Nurse Sharks
Sea Hare
Fire Worms
I consider myself one of Coral Cove’s “biggest fans” and would like to give back. I can my time as a volunteer, and also video that show the wonder and diversity of reef life in nearshore waters of Palm Beach county. I think if people could see what goes on in 12 feet of water they would support coastal clean-up, reef rehab and other projects.
Please let me know how I can help.
Thanks
Ray Dickenson
